Mine‑used plastic‑coated steel pipe (hereinafter referred to as plastic‑coated steel pipe) is a steel‑plastic composite pipe manufactured by processing ordinary steel pipe and coating its inner and outer surfaces with special polyethylene material. It features anti‑static and flame‑retardant performance.
Product Features
(1) Flame Retardant & Anti‑static
Adopting mine‑special polyethylene coating, anti‑static and flame‑retardant components are evenly distributed on both surface and inner layer of the pipe. It meets requirements of MT181 standard and is suitable for flammable and explosive environments under mine shafts.
(2) High Adhesion
After coating, bonding and curing for inner and outer surfaces of plastic‑coated steel pipe, the adhesion is ≥30N/10mm. No damage occurs under drop‑weight impact and tearing test.
(3) Corrosion Resistance, Anti‑scaling & Low Fluid Resistance
The pipe boasts excellent acid‑alkali resistance and corrosion resistance, applicable for high‑sulfur water and water containing calcium, magnesium and other ions in underground coal mines. With high‑smooth surface and low fluid resistance, it avoids scale accumulation and reduces secondary pollution.
(4) High Pressure Resistance
Polyethylene powder coating delivers good toughness, while steel pipe provides high mechanical strength. The pipe exhibits strong resistance against external impacts, bending and other external loads.
Main Application & Scope
As general‑purpose pipe for underground coal mines, the coated composite pipe applies to water supply & drainage, positive‑pressure ventilation, negative‑pressure ventilation, grouting and gas drainage in coal mines. It shall not be used for other purposes, and working pressure shall not exceed the nominal pressure.
