The fire‑protection plastic‑coated steel pipe adopts steel pipe as base tube. Its outer wall is coated with thermosetting powder coating featuring high adhesion, impact resistance, anti‑corrosion and weather resistance. The inner wall is coated with thermoplastic powder coating of high adhesion, anti‑corrosion and food‑grade hygienic performance.

Through double pre‑treatment of sandblasting and chemical processing, preheating, inner coating, outer coating, curing and post‑treatment processes, the finished inner‑outer plastic‑coated composite steel pipe for water supply is a cost‑effective upgraded product replacing traditional steel‑plastic pipes and galvanized pipes. The product has obtained professional fire‑protection certification from National Chemical Building Materials Test Center.

Plastic‑coating anti‑corrosion treatment for steel pipes or galvanized pipes solves the rusting and scaling problems of ordinary steel pipes in buried installation and water transportation. It eliminates pipeline and sprinkler blockage, and extends service life. The service life of plastic‑coated steel pipe can reach more than 50 years.

Flame retardant is added and epoxy resin powder is modified for the powder coating of plastic‑coated steel pipe. The coating delivers excellent temperature resistance, non‑combustible and non‑softening performance in long‑term operation. It combines high strength of ordinary steel pipe and anti‑corrosion performance of resin products. Its pressure resistance ranges from 0 to 5.0 MPa.
